Support Live Music!
“Start where you are.” We did. We are. You’re joining us at the beginning of our journey. Thank you for coming along. The more of us there are, the easier it is to do the impossible. TroubleMakers International is a way for us to combine our resources and provide focused support for the live music community.
The 1984 film ‘Footloose’ feels so much more relatable right now, doesn’t it? Let’s fix that. Our musician friends are hurting. Let’s fix that too. Individually, this is impossible but TOGETHER this is EASILY within reach. All you have to do is BUY A TICKET for a fundraising event. All proceeds from these shows goes towards getting us to the next step, getting a building.
“Use what you have.” We did. We are. When it became clear that we needed to take music into our own hands, we did. We are. Now we are using these shows to take TMI to the next level. The easiest way for us to raise money is through live music shows – where we provide direct support to musicians, bands, artists and industry professionals within our community.
“Do what you can.” We are but we could do so much more WITH YOU. Help us come together to provide REAL support to our live music community. BUY A TICKET to our fundraiser events. If you aren’t comfortable coming out yet, buy a ticket anyway. Provide support in a tangible way that can be used to demonstrate the viability of this model when we start applying for grants.
It’s THAT easy. Buy a ticket for a show you would normally go to anyway and watch our community benefit. Buy two tickets. Bring a friend. They need music too.
